HI

I have just converted my room to a bar "charleys bar" and am looking at the possibility of purchasing silverjuke to run my music and video selection via 2 touch screens an a monitor for karaoke/Milk Drop etc. I note that video is not supported at this time. Will this be supported in the near future as i have a collection of music DVD's i would like to add.

Also, although "Silveriness touched" has larger buttons. Is there a way to make these slightly larger.

Thanks

Putting karaoke tracks in a seperate folder is no problem. I prefer it organised that way tbh.

If this could be implemented in your Blue Touch skin that would be great, it is my favourite for use at parties anyway!

For a normal skin this is currently not possible. For my Touch family of skins - which fully bypasses the normal queueing system of SJ - this could easily be done.

One minor issue however: currently SJ has no way to report to a script which song is a karaoke track. You could work your way around that by putting all karaoke tracks in a separate folder.

Would it be possible to get vertical and horizontal text centering support for the system messages to enable custom messages in skins?

Please see this post if you don't get what I mean:

A feature that I would love to see would be this:

Karaoke tracks would cost two credits rather than the one for a normal song.

Then the karaoke track would come on directly after the currently playing selection (meaning that whoever was singing wouldn't have to wait for too long or wouldn't dissapear to the toilet/bar/home etc.)

This would be great, is it possible?

you can have this from today on: The playlist direct load is realized in my skin graphite in Version 1.61.
You can find it here in the forum:

Enjoy.

I would love to be able to save playlists and then quickly see a list of my playlists without having to browse a folder.

I envisage an optional window at the top of the player that lists saved playlists in a nominated directory.

The cover art view is superb. However, it is a shame that the user has to toggle into album detail view to add a track to a playlist and then toggle back to cover art view to continue browsing their collection.

I would love to see most of the screen dedicated to the cover art with a frame on the right that shows the tracks from the cover that has been selected. This would make it much easier to build playlists and browse music collections.

I think you are searching for a sort of a visualization, that is started when the jukebox is waiting for some input? Sorry, this is not possible as far as I know.

However, if you do not know the "Go to current track" (aka "Follow song") feature, maybe this one is an idea:

You'll find the feature at "Settings / Playback / Automatic control / Further options" - maybe this helps ...
