Wir sehen da keinen großem Handlungsbedarf - zumal die Sortierung ja innerhalb des Programmes konsisten ist - eine entspr. Option hätte weitreichende Auswikungen z.B. auch auf die "A-Z" Leisten der Skins usw.

Und es sieht m.E. auch einfach unschön aus, wenn am Anfang der Liste lauter Alben mit seltsamen Namen - häufig dann mit nur wenigen Titeln - auftauchen. Auch würden dann ja die "unsortierten" Titel gleich am Anfang stehen ...

auch ich habe das dringende Bedürfnis, meine Alben chronologisch zusammenstehen zu haben.
Mit Neil Young & Co habe ich auch meine Probleme. Ich habe bisher gnadenlos alle Alben unter Neil Young gefasst, egal ob mit Crazy Horse oder ohne. Schön wäre natürlich, wenn dies berücksichtigt würde.

Wäre das nicht evtl. über erweitertes Tagging möglich??

Also beispielsweise
"Interpret" Neil Young
"Album-Interpret" Neil Young & Crazy Horse

Die Sortierung würde dann idealerweile über "Interpret" erfolgen, der aber nicht angezeigt wird, sobald "Album-Interpret" gefüllt ist.

Danke für die Beta 3. Alle meine Wünsche wurden berücksichtigt.

ich möchte mal ein Problem (?) von mir zur Diskussion stellen. Vielleicht ist es gar keins und mir sind nur einige Einstellungen durchgegangen, vielleicht bin ich aber auch nicht alleine damit:

Also zunächstmal ist mir klar, wie Silverjuke aus dem ID3-Tag die Zuordnung zu Buchstaben vornimmt, und mir ist klar, dass über die Suchfunktion hervorragend gefiltert werden kann. Nun aber zu meinem Problem:

Ich scrolle gerne durch den Gesamtbestand an eingelesenen CDs und lasse mich durch die schöne optische Gestaltung verleiten in Alben reinzuhören.

Ich tue mich nun schwer Alben in den ID3-Tags zu pflegen, bei denen entweder mehrere Interpreten aufgeführt sind wie beispielsweise B.B. King & Eric Clapton oder Al Bano & Romina Power oder wenn Interpreten häufig wechselnde Bandnamen haben z.B.: Neil Young (als Solointerpret) Neil Young and the Crazy Horses etc.

Bisher habe ich den ID3-Tag richtig gepflegt, mit der Konsequenz, dass beispielsweise das Album von B.B. King & Eric Clapton als "neuer" Interpret interpretiert wird, was wiederum dazu führt, dass es chronologisch weder richtig bei B.B. King noch bei Eric Clapton zu finden ist. Gleiches gilt für Neil Young, der mal ein Soloalbum, mal ein Album mit Band einspielt, ich das aber chronologisch nicht zusammenhängend darstellen kann, weil es sich ja laut ID3-Tag um zwei verschiedene Interpreten handelt.

Aus meiner Sicht wäre es wünschenswert, wenn man die Darstellung selbst steuern könnte. Also, dass der ID3-Tag vollständig gepflegt ist, mal aber trotzdem sagen kann, das Album gehört zum Imterpreten XY und ist dort dann chronologisch einzusortieren.

Ich hoffe ich habe mein Problem verständlich darhgestellt. Wenns keine technische Lösung gibt, wäre ich dankbar für Hinweise, wie andere User damit umgehen, der Sachverhalt ist ja keine Seltenheit.
