Ich beende die aktuelle Instanz mit Girder (ne alte Freeware-Version, welche bei mir die gesamte Fernbedienungsgeschichte (und in diesem Falle auch die Hotkeys) steuert), aber ich denke man könnte sich auch etwas mit Hilfe der Funktionen program.run() und program.shutdown() direkt aus SJ basteln, aber das habe ich auch noch nicht ausprobiert.

Sehr gutes idee, aber wie macht man das "Beenden von aktueller Instanz"? (Oder habe ich misverstanden und soll man das sebst machen?)

Also habe ich eine zweite Silverjuke Instanz auf dem Rechner laufen, die über ne Tastenkombination aufgerufen werden (Beenden von aktueller Instanz, starten von anderen Instanz mit entsprechender Datenbank ("silverjuke.exe --db=classic.db --ini=classic.ini" bzw "silverjuke.exe --db=modern.db --ini=modern.ini")).
Könnte man wahrscheinlich auch auf einen Button legen, habe ich aber noch nicht ausgetestet.

Und zwar würde ich gerne während Silverjuke bereits läuft die Datenbank wechseln um zum Beispiel ein Datenbank mit Mainstream und eine mit Indipentliedern zu füttern.
Wenn ich alle Lieder in eine Datenbank einlese wird mein Musikrechner (1GHz) doch rechtlangsam. Die Datenbank hat mittlerweile ein Größe von knapp 70 MB.
Meine Vorstellung wäre es, das der Benutzer mit einem Klick die andere Datenbank laden kann und sich dann dort ein Lied aussuchen kann und die Lieder in der Playlist erhaltenbleiben und auch abgespielt werden.
Ist das überhaupt möglich?
