Vista komme mir mit Sicherheit nicht ins Haus!!!

Das Problem hatte ich beim Rechner meiner Tante.
Aber Du könntest ja mal versuchen, Dir volle Berechtigung auf das :silverjuke:-Verzeichnis zu geben oder - wie oben schon geschrieben wurde - die Berechtigung übernehmen, falls das uner Vista klappt.

... und hast du in der zwischenzeit das Problem gelöst ?? Habe nähmlich heute
die selben Probleme gehabt mit VISTA !!! Vista gibt Silverjuke nicht die Rechte um irgendwelche Daten auf der externen HD zu schreiben !! Wie kann man das lösen ??
Kenne VISTA nicht !!

wäre froh, wenn du oder ihr mir helfen könntet

normal geht das wie du schon beschrieben hast: anstöpseln, silverjuke.exe starten (richtige parameter für datenbankdatei nicht vergessen), musi hören :-)

Ich wollte ihr Silverjuke zeigen, damit sie mal sieht, wie komfortabel Musik hören am PC sein kann, wollte SJ allerdings nicht installieren - habe sowieso meine Kopie auf der Festplatte inkl. einer aktuellen Datenbank.

Also Festplatte angestöpselt, Laufwerksbuchstaben angepasst und SJ gestartet. Nach einiger Zeit gab es gleich mal eine Fehlermeldung. Leider habe ich diese nicht notiert oder einen Screenshot gebastelt. Ich nehme an, dass das Problem auf die Benutzerkontensteuerung zurückzuführen ist, welche zuerst mal davon ausgeht, dass niemand auf irgendein Verzeichnis auch nur die kleinste Berechtigung hat.

Als ich nämlich einen Ordner von der USB-Platte löschen wollte, den ich zuvor angelegt hatte, durfte ich das nicht ;-)

Wie bekomme ich also eine SJ-Version direkt von einer USB-HD ohne Probleme zum laufen?
