von "Picasa" könnte man sich abgucken, in jedem MP3-Verzeichnis eine .ini-Datei abzulegen, die alle notwendigen Infos beinhaltet, die auch in der Datenbank-Datei enthalten sind. So zum Beispiel die Ratings, Playcounts, etc... dies könnte ein Backup darstellen, wenn mal z.B. die DB-Struktur völlig im Eimer ist und sollte nur bei einem völligen ReScan der Verzeichnisse gelesen werden. Geschrieben werden können die Dateien ja quasi jederzeit oder z.B. beim Beenden.

Es wäre dann natürlich so, dass nicht mehrere DBs gleichzeitig mit unterschiedlichen Ratings auf die selben Dateien zugreifen könnten, das wäre dann quasi "vereinheitlicht".

Ein großer Vorteil wäre jedoch, dass selbst beim kompletten Umstrukturieren des Verzeichnisbaums alle Infos dablieben bzw. zurückgelesen werden könnten. Ansonsten werden ja verschobene Dateien als neue neu gescant und ohne Erkennung einfach eingereiht...
