I think, we won't implement such a feature in Silverjuke; it seems to be too too specific.
However, maybe this is already possible in Ubuntu itself, resp. in the gstreamer backend that is used by Silverjuke and many other audio applications (I think they will be affected by the same law).
In gstreamer, you can easily create a "pipeline" with various filters, decoders, demuxers, file readers and so on, see the gstreamer documentation for details. A gstreamer pipeline as "decrypt | autoaudiosink" would be great - again maybe sth. like that is already possible, maybe you can ask the gstreamer experts for this issue.
If this is possible, you can edit the gstreamer pipeline in Silverjuke at "Settings / Advanced / Further options / Output: GStreamer-Pipeline":

I am using Silverjuke on Linux Ubuntu and enjoy it allot. I am unfortunately only a VB.net programmer so cant even help with development of silverjuke, but have got a request if possible.
I am from South Africa and to have a legal jukebox we need digital jukeboxes to be able to encrypt and decrypt audio files like mp3 as what i am using with silverjuke.
Could it be possible to add such a functionality to silverjuke?
South Africa Law say that if someone steal your jukebox then they cant use it on any other unit than on the jukebox its loaded on.
