I am trying out silverjuke to put in my win98 kiosk computer (that happens to be inside an antique radio)
So far, the touchscreen controls are the best I've seen for a jukebox software that's win98-friendly
however, the skins available aren't exactly what I'd be trying to get.
The "silveriness touched" skin works awesome. But I'd rather have a wood-skin then a brushed-aluminium skin.
I tried to edit the PNGs of that skin, but all I get is garbage.
I mainly want to have a brown version of the skin, with the brushed alu changed for dark oak. Shouldn't be difficult.
but all I get is garbage random pixels. I surely do something wrong in the color conversion.
I've seen a skin named "wooden box" but it is not a "box"... what I'd really liked is "woodeniness touched" LOL.
if anyone could help making the skin, I'd like to see how it goes before my demo expires... and I've already spent two days trying to make it on my own, with no results.
Altough, I am thinking I'd register the software regardless of the skin, it just works great on my kiosk computer.
oh, is there a way to start directly in "kiosk mode"?
thanks.Statistics: Posted by Marsupial — 5. Jul 11, 03:42
